"I know your face like a sailor does the open sea. Sailing the surface, looking into your eyes seeing the pearls in them urging me to dive in. That I might find something deeply hidden in the caves and crevices of your soul. Maybe I'll find a lost city, that held the structures of your past life. I'll dive deep and find your chest, and in it a heart of gold and some silver coins. Spring up to the surface making a ripple in the sea that makes a smile on your ocean face.. I'll love you like a sailor, forever lost at sea." - Donnel Barroso (http://readingisfree.blogspot.com/)
Calypso. the sea foam froths at the very whisper of her name. you sail the sea of her curves and currents, and against the tides she will bring the storm of the 7 seas. lost in her sea you find the north star contrary to the starry sky, but in the deepness of the pearls at the bottom. a nymph of the sea, you are held down by the anchors of her voice that are carried out through the gulls of the winds, and truth circumnavigates its way back into the hulls of your mind. the steady tides bring you far enough out that her faint cries are heard in the murmurs of the waves. but she keeps a weathered eye on the horizon knowing the tides will bring you back when the moon lies low.
come back to Me sailor, for when I look out over the greatness of our odyssey, white sails will fly beyond the oceans of the world.
waking up to this love note, the saltiness of my waters fall from my very soul.
